Discourse was the MHS journalism student show that ran since the journalism program was first founded at MHS until 2024. Each season had a different focus, representing many different journalistic endeavors. Our show featured students composing and mixing feature radio stories about the public and our community. season 6: the birth of the radio | 2022
MHS journalism students produced monologues about different aspects of their lives and highlighted parts of a press conference with retiring MHS principal Elizabeth Clain.
season 5: feeling (john) green | 2021
Modeled off of John Green's The Anthropocene Reviewed podcast, students produced monologues that review specific parts of their lives while also commenting on larger societal issues.

Working from home, students talk about their experience at the beginning of the pandemic, right after their world was turned upside down.
