Mamaroneck Public Radio was founded in fall 2021 by then-seniors Caitlyn Carpenter, Anna McDonald, and Fatimah Khan at Mamaroneck High School located in Mamaroneck, NY. Although independently created, it works closely with the school's Journalism program, which was launched in 2013. The radio makes use of the school's podcasting studio, which second-semester Journalism students use to produce podcasts.

This radio's aim is to create a student-run source of news and entertainment for the MHS student body and the larger Mamaroneck community. Students manage all content broadcasted on the radio including music, talk shows, and smaller advertisements and inserts.

MPR was made possible by grants from both Mamaroneck Schools Foundation and the MHS PTA and took inspiration from Sleepy Hollow Radio.

Showrunners: Wyatt Lonegro, Luka Mincemoyer, Carl Albano, Ville Martinson, Robby Grimes, Graham Welsh, Jakob Kuhn, Alex Lin, Kara Dillon, Diego Dominguez, Harrison Beckwith, Elijah Manaog, Tanis McAuliffe, Mia Rosales, Emily Scobie, Annabel Sexton, Lilly Tunkey, Jack Brasile, Diego Gonzalez-Lopez
Head of Tech: Graham Welsh ('25)
Faculty Advisor: Zachary Moore
